Dear Dreamwidth: this shit is not okay. Oh my god, seriously, it is not. The fact that I've seen this repeatedly -- and elsewhere -- in that community does not at all help. Is there even a mod there, man?

I haven't seen a maintainer there ever, plus it's not exactly against the rules? In fact, looking at the userinfo, I think I'm more likely to be breaking the rules than they are, since the only thing listed is "NO DRAMA." Ugh.

I was so sick of seeing that sentiment back on the LJ news post comments (ever since SUP took over, and even before they did anything unpopular), and it's just too bad that it's found its way here too. Of course, some of them are probably the same people. They don't realize how much it makes them look like an ignorant Cold War anachronism.
