Dear Dreamwidth: this shit is not okay. Oh my god, seriously, it is not. The fact that I've seen this repeatedly -- and elsewhere -- in that community does not at all help. Is there even a mod there, man?

I was so sick of seeing that sentiment back on the LJ news post comments (ever since SUP took over, and even before they did anything unpopular), and it's just too bad that it's found its way here too. Of course, some of them are probably the same people. They don't realize how much it makes them look like an ignorant Cold War anachronism.

Ugh, THIS. Way to make ridiculous blanket statements about ONE company, which does not nowhere near represent the Russian government or the Russian people. And the, "I don't mind the Russian users on LJ" people. OH, OKAY THEN. I'M SO GLAD THAT YOU DON'T MIND THAT I, AS A RUSSIAN, AM USING LJ. ALRIGHT THEN.
