highways | (no subject)

So the Taiwanese environment is apparently pretty good to my complexion. And my hair. If only the bugs would stop fucking biting me, I think I have a welt coming up on my goddamn face, oh my god. I've got two more on my hand, this is not fucking cool.

So I've done nothing exciting for the last few days; in fact, I've pretty much just holed up in my dorm and reread the first book of The Lord of the Rings. I think this ebook reader I got for my birthday is my favorite thing ever, even if I can't actually download new books unless I'm back in the States (or have set up a proxy), I still have about, what, forty to choose from? But I am in a foreign country, and so I am trying to get out and like, experience it. Me, N. and D. are going out to another street market tonight, and I've learned where the closest theater is. I just have no idea what's playing.

Classes start next Monday. Too bad none of us can actually figure out where we're supposed to go for them.
