scans_daily is pissing me off lately. If it isn't the mods finding "lame" unacceptable but in the same thread "ghetto" is apparently fine—bonus points in that thread for commenters making 1984 jokes!—it's the members posting yaoi gang rape without a warning and ignoring requests for one. Jesus. BY THE WAY I AM WARNING YOU ON THE SECOND LINK, the gym teacher makes like the entire class strip and rape one of the students for being late, or something, apparently it's like a known comic and sort of a meme? Whatever, I never would've fucking clicked that link if the intro to it hadn't implied some wacky and hilarious shenanigans!

My point is scans_daily is doing PC really, really wrong.

I GET THE IMPRESSION THEY THINK THE "NSFW" AND "YAOI" TAGS WERE SUPPOSED TO SAY IT ALL, yeah. And like, they obviously saw my and the other person's comments, and just decided to ignore them completely. What the fuck? Then I checked the rules, which go on for, like, forever, and ... I couldn't find anything that actually forbids this? WTF.

I'd message the mods but like, the last time I replied to one of them I got nothing, and again it doesn't appear to be against the rules, so, uh.

NO. There's a pretty big difference between, you know, consensual NSFW sex and non-con. IT'S REALLY NOT A HARD CONCEPT TOO BAD THIS PERSON IS CLEARLY UNABLE TO GRASP THAT. I mean, I have my own issues with ~yaoi~ but I mean really, they seriously think that throwing up a NSFW/YAOI!! warning actually covers this.

I guess the mods are too busy calling out selective oppressive language. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it, but when you're chewing someone out for saying lame but wholeheartedly encourage racism, classism and don't have anything in your rules about warning for gang rape or respecting someone else's wishes to be warned for gang rape then you're doing something wrong.

I FUCKING KNOW RIGHT, how is this hard. I think they eventually put up a warning that said "(yaoi/rape)" after a mod finally commented. All without apologizing or anything, ugh.
