This is all over the visa application instructions, and yeah I have basically nothing to do with drugs in my life here in America, but I am going to be extra sure to keep it that way, geez. DON'T KILL ME, TAIWAN.

I have shamefully gotten into the Vampire Academy series. In my defense: I honestly cannot at all imagine why any girl ever would want to be Bella Swan. She's horrible, her boyfriend's a freak, and her life is godawful. Rose Hathaway, on the other hand, is a foul mouthed super tough half-vampire training to be an undead-slaughtering bodyguard in order to fulfill her career goal of protecting her (female) best friend for life. That is poorly written wish fulfillment I can actually get behind.

The question is, can she vampire better than everyone else?

No, that would be silly! Since she is only half-vampire, and half-vampires don't really have any powers besides speed and physical strength, and she's still in school anyway. If her teachers couldn't kick her ass it wouldn't make any sense. Plus the evil undead vampires are stronger than anyone ever, pretty much.

IN THIS VAMPIRE SOCIETY most of the vampires are alive and pretty much like humans, except for being super weak in sunlight and needing to drink human blood in addition to regular food. But otherwise they live about as long as humans and can get sick and hurt and stuff. Oh, and they're weaker than humans I think. And they have magic.

The evil vampires are like regular vampires, they can't go out into sunlight and are super fast and super strong and live forever and they drink people's blood to death. The good vampires can't do that, if they do they become one of the evil undead vampires.

That sounds like a useful way to become immortal.

And evil! I guess they are like people, they'd rather not kill people and, uh, eat them. Though I guess you'd be sort of used to that idea already if you were a blood drinker.
