I spent today moving all my shit into ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
asgardianing's and my apartment—well actually, I had to disappear to sign the lease paperwork, and by the time I got back at least half of my stuff had been moved upstairs by my parents, which is something of a win. I have a bed! And a desk and a crappy bookshelf I need to wash like, a lot. We have very little furniture but besides that what do you need, really.
My cat screamed the entire way down (it's like a five hour drive) but now is acting as though nothing even happened.
School starts in six days! More excitingly, this semester I've volunteered to work on a linguistics research project involving English, Dutch, and Japanese spontaneous speech. I AM PRETTY EXCITED, though due to my undergrad status I am pretty sure I will be doing some basic stuff THAT IS OKAY, I AM STILL EXCITED.
